Indexed fields are utilized by Chainbox to allow swift response to searches.
The Index info page displays fields being indexed.
Relevant fields are automatic added to index, but in rare cases a rebuild could be required. In that case click the "Rebuild index" button.
Regardless of the datatype an attribute have in PIM, the webshop will always treat is as a string, unless told otherwise. This means, that fields with numeric values used for sorting must be be changed to "number" in "Index info" for the show to sort numerically.
In this view you can also change value type to a field. Click the specific field and choose value type from the dropdown menu. Click "Save" on the individual field to change.
A field changed to string-localizable, will enable the field to carry translations in the label editor.
If a change requires a rebuild of the index before being proper implemented, this message will appear. Click "Rebuild Index".
