Under settings in PIM you now find the Experimental features allowing to switch on new developed functionalities.
Ensure that Resouce bulk import is activated by enabling the slider as shown above. Once enabled the functionality will appear in the Import/Export sub menu.
Choose "Product" and click "Continue". Name your files according to the instructions in the top, itemnumber.filetype OR itemnumber_XXX.filetype incase you have multiple files to same itemnumber.
Drag and drop the files into the designated space, and click "continue" when done. Please note that when adding the files, they will be listred alphanumerically. This is also the order to which they will be added to a product if more than 1 image.
Example:
When uploading images: KON00211, KON00211_01, KON00211_02, then KON00211 will be the primary, KON00211_01 will be the secondary etc.
The files are now validated for processing. The top of the page will inform how many files are found, how many files match existing itemnumbers, and how many itemnumbers are recognized.
Should any images be of a filetype not compatible or should the image be too large or too small, the image will be marked for you to remove.
Validate the result, and click "Begin process" when satisfied.
The files will now be resized to match their uses on the webshop (small, default and large) the file format is changed to webp and uploaded to the itemnumbers matching the filenames.
Choose "Category" and choose what category hierarchy the categories you import to, belongs to. Click "Continue". Name your files according to the instructions in the top, categoryID.filetype or categoryID_XXX.filetype.
Drag and drop the files into the designated space, and click "continue" when done.
