Texts

Click the flags to show and hide the language translations of texts. If a translation of name exists it will overrule the Category label on the webshop.

Click into the fields name and short description to add or edit content.

To enter or edit long descriptions click the edit icon.

Meta information

Option to enter translated Meta information. Click flags to show/hide languages.

Filter fields

The filter fields controls what filters the customer can interact with per category.

Note that subcategories without defined filter fields, will inherit those from the category above.

Click the edit icon to add or edit filter fields. Remove or add filter fields to category by ticking/untick. The order the filter fields are shown in on the webshop is the same as the order the fields are shown in in image "Edit filters - setup 2" below. Click "Done", when happy with your selection of filters and their order.

For best result, ensure filter fields contains data for all relevant products in PIM

Filter fields as slider

A filter field will automatically be shown as slider if the following is in place:

  • Field value is purely numeric, and more than one value exist (slider needs a "to and from" value to work)

  • Field data type is compatible with slider-function (not multiline, boolean etc.)

  • Field type is set to "Number" in front end - settings - Index info. See below link for more information:

Filter fields translations

The filter fields will be shown with the attribute field code. To change that to a more customer-friendly filter name, log into the webshop with supervisor-rights and click "Edit" and choose "Labels".

Find the relevant filter fields as shown below, translate and save.

Sort order

Sort the order of categories on same level by adding a value to field "sort order". Lowest value come first.

Use values such as 10, 20, 30 or 100, 200, 300 to ensure you can add new categories in between.
