Important!: Upon export choose the parcing culture (da-DK or en-US) that you use for import. This will ensure that your number formatting is the same, your decimal separator being either comma or point, thus maintaining the correct values.
A price in en-US parcing culture imported with da-DK parcing culture, will be a totally different price because of the different translation of comma vs point.
File-format for exports is CSV. Please note, that if opening a CSV-file with EXCEL, EXCEL might have its own opinion on parcing culture and cell formatting and change the file upon opening.
This can be avoided by importing the CSV file into excel however might still require transformation in the import process.
If clicking the export icon, PIM will suggest exporting the advanced table fields equal to your view, and products equal content in your view or to present sorting.
When pressing Export in the product view, the product selection and field selection will be as in the view, with what ever filtering is active when clicking export.
The next step is where you fine-tune your selection, change what columns to export, what parcing culture to export to etc.
Remember always to include the attribute "ID" as this is the unique identifier of the product, and the exported file cannot be reimported without a unique identifier.
When satisfied with your choices click "Start Download". The file will be created and downloaded into your download folder for further processing.
