Product views

With a vast amount of products in PIM, each with numerous fields that requires work, creating views for different areas of maintenance serves as a great tool to ensure no details is missed.

View examples could be:

  • Views showing Specifications fields, per group/ brand/other/all products

  • Views showing Channel and categories, per group/brand/other/all products

  • Views only containing products where certain fields are empty (descriptions, specifications, channels etc.)

  • Views only containing parent-items (relevant for description maintenance if products are variants)

The filter options for each view, offers a high degree of complexity, so start by identifying the needs and build the views accordingly.

Always keep one overview that contains all products. It is good to fall back on when you are searching products in filtered view and not finding what you expect.
