Product category settings
Root category
The root category serves as the starting point in the category hierarchy within the Product Information Management (PIM) system. It determines from which category the catalog should begin.
The children of this root category will form the content of your main navigation.
Show empty categories
By default, this function is disabled, which means that if products within a specific category are discontinued or no longer available, the corresponding category will automatically be removed from your website.
