Installation of Chainbox plug-in

Installation of plug-in:

Below guide is for local language English

1. Login to BC365 with a user with adminstrator rights

2. Click on "Extensions" under "Setup & Extensions"

3. Click on "Manage" and "Upload Extention"

4. Fill the form and upload application

5. Ensure the installation is done by checking under "Extension Deployment Status"

Setup of plug-in

1. Search table "eCommerce Salesorder".

2. In "eCommerce Salesorder" view click on "Actions and choose "eCommerce Setup"

3. In "eCommerce Setup" click "Actions" and run the following:

• "Setup settings"

• "Setup webservices"

• "Setup legacy webservices"

In the setuptable a number of key/values will appear (they will require configuring lager when the webshop is installed)

Create access to ODATA API

Create an entra application with access to Business Central - API.ReadWrite.All

Note: This needs a web redirect-url: https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/OAuthLanding.htm

Also note: remeber to grant admin consent.

• Create entra app under users in business Central and give rights to this user in Business Centra.

• Test access to ODATA services/endpoints with entra app credentials (OAUTH), to the tenant it requires rights to.

What does Chainbox require

• Tenant id

• Business Central Environment

• Company name

• Entra app id

• Entra app secret
