eCommerce Sales Orders (Staging)
The CBX Sales Header card acts as an intermediary staging buffer between your webshop and Business Central. It stores incoming web orders, customer billing details, shipping addresses, payment transaction references, and custom metadata before converting them into standard Business Central Sales Orders.

Actions & Troubleshooting
| Action | Description | When to Use |
|---|---|---|
| Create BC Sales Order | Manually triggers the order creation routine for this specific record. | Use when an order did not process automatically, or after resolving a validation error. |
| Reset record | Clears the Error, unchecks Created, wipes the linked Sales Header Created number, and resets the line transfer flags. | Use when an order failed with an error, allowing you to edit values on the staging card and re-run creation. |
| Reset lines on weborder | Sets the Transferred status on all lines back to No without altering header status. |
Use if only line items need to be re-evaluated during manual re-import. |
Typical Workflow
- A new web order is received via the API and appears in the staging list.
- The system attempts to create a standard Sales Order.
- If successful, the BC order number is written to Sales Header Created, and Created is marked as
true. - If an issue occurs (e.g., item not found), the error message is recorded in the Error field.
- Review the issue, correct the data (or configure the missing item/customer in BC), click Reset record, and click Create BC Sales Order.
