Create Business Central user for Chainbox

In Microsoft Entra:

  1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center at https://admin.cloud.microsoft.
  2. Go to Users > Active users, and select Add a user.
  3. In the Set up the basics pane, fill in the basic user information, and then select Next.
    • Name – Chainbox or something similar.
    • Domains - Choose your company’s domain
    • Password settings - Choose to use the autogenerated password
  4. In the Assign product licenses pane, select Denmark for location, and add either Dynamics 365 Business Central Essentials, or Dynamics 365 Business Central External Accountant as a license.
  5. After clicking finish adding, save the username and password and provide them to your Chainbox contact.

Assign permissions to the Chainbox user in Business Central

  1. Choose the icon, enter Users, and then choose the related link.
  2. Select the Chainbox user you created in the Admin center.
  3. Uder Permisson Sets add the following permissions
    • D365 BUS FULL ACCESS
    • SUPER (DATA)
