Macro

Predefined macro's enables you to connect and present all sorts of content on your pages, using complex filters with minimum effort.

BrandList

A BrandList will supply you with a simple list of Brands sorted alphabetically presenting the brands by images or by name.

Consider using a landingpage (Collection) and create all your brands as Child items for the benefits of easy grouping and overview.

Click "Add content" and choose "Macro"

Choose "BrandList", and enable slider if you wish your brands to be presented with logo pictures. Click "Submit".

Where are these brands coming from?

In order for the webshop to produce a Brandlist, a landingpage or child item needs to exist where Relations Brand is defined, this will also be the page you are taken to when clicking on a specific Brand on the BrandList. The Brand ALSO needs to correspond with the field Brand in the Product Information Management (PIM) system.

Defining a Brand in the Webshop

Create a landingpage/child item for one or more Brands. Click "Relations", "Brands" and enter your brand in the searchtext. Click "+" to select the Brand, and then Save

Click back on "Content" and "Meta information" and "Meta Image" to add a Brand logo. Choose the brand logo from your media gallery, or click Upload to browse your computer to upload picture. Select picture.

Now your Brand has a logo attached.

The logo on your BrandList will automatically take you to the specific Brand page, if clicked.

Only Brands defined in your Product Information Management (PIM) system, can be found and used when searching in the "Search brands" field on a brand-page:

CategoryMap

You can add a CategoryMap anywhere in your webshop, by adding this Macro.

Click "Add content" on a column, and click "Macro"

Click "CategoryMap", click "Save and publish".

The CategoryMap automatically provides link to the shop category you click on. The CategoryMap feeds of the Category structure as defined in your Product Information Management (PIM) system

ContentLinks

With ContentLinks you can link to any of your pages on the webshop from anywhere else in a discreet way.

Click "Add Content" and click "Macro".

Navigate and click an the page or pages you wish to create links to - for this example 2 pages. Click "Submit".

ContentList

A ContentList is an element that works especially well with a Landingpage (Collection) because it presents itself with the Meta Images per childitem automatically. For this example we have created a Landingpage (Collection) called "Tutorials" with 3 Child Items, that are each a tutorial video of a specific product.

Click "Add content", and choose "Macro"

Content parent

If you are on a Landingpage (Collection) you need not choose a parent, it will automatically list the Child items that belong to this page. If on a regular Landingpage, press "Add" and navigate to the page that is the parent to your content

If Landingpage (Collection) parent need not be specified. Child items will automatically be shown.

Limit

If you only wish the latest to be visible, you can limit the number of pages/Child items shown by defining the quantity here.

Highlighted positions (1,2,..)

A highlighted postion will appear larger. In the below example page/child item number 1 is highlighted, the rest are not. All can be highligted (1,2,3,4,5) or none

FeaturedBrands

This feature is relevant for a brandpage with a very long brandlist. It gives the option to present a fewer number of brands in a featured position. Same as the brandlist, the featured brands provides navigation to a specific brand-page when clicked.

Click "FeaturedBrands", and choose your settings and click "Submit"

What makes a brand featured?

To mark specific Brands as featured, navigate to Umbraco, to your Brand collection, choose the specific brand to feature, go to Properties page and write "Featured" in Tags and click Save and Publish. Repeat the process with other Brands if multiple should be shown as Featured on Brand page.

If enabled the Brands will be shown as slider

Use images

If enabled the Meta image on the individual Brandpage will appear in the slider, if disabled, the pagename will appear as text.

Order by popularity

If enabled it will list the Brands by most sold first. If disabled it will list brands by their sorting in Umbraco.

Limit

Will limit the list to a certain quantity - insert number.

FeaturedContent

If you have a large ContentList presented on you webshop, you might want to create a FeatureContent list, to bring to special attention the latest most relevant content only. Create a dedicated list "FeaturedContent", and only show content that is tagged with "featured". That way you can easily change the featured collection of content to keep your page up to date, by just changing the tag.

Click "FeaturedContent". Enable slider if you wish your featured content to be sorted with most recent first.

Type the number of the positions you wish to be highlighted (larger images). You can add several positions separated by comma (1,2,3). Click "Submit"

For the list to have content, some content needs to be tagged as featured.

Go to your sub-page or Child item, and chose "Properties". Type "featured" and press enter

If successful "featured" is marked with blue. Click "Save and publish". Now you have your first featured content on your webshop

FooterSoMeLinks

This macro will copy existing SoMeLinks set up on your company footer and enter elsewhere if needed. You can check the below pagelink on setting op the SoMeLinks in the footer.

Click "Add content" on the chosen column. Click "Macro" and "FooterSoMeLinks"

Click "Save and publish" and the originally setup SoMe icons are now visible.

ImageGallery

With the macro "ImageGallery" you can display an image folder.

Click "Add content" in the column

Click "ImageGallery", and click the "+" to add a specific folder

Choose your imagefolder and click "Select", then click "Submit" and "Save and publish"

Your folder content will now appear in the column of choice, in the sequence of which it was added.

In the "Media" section of Umbraco is where you will create, name and add pictures to a specific folder to use as "ImageGallery", but also all other Media content on your page.

RelatedContent

RelatedContent, will display content related by brand or tags on your page.

Click "Add content" on your column of choice. Click "Macro" and "RelatedContent" then "Submit"

Choose which should be highlighted (bigger) by choosing number - if more than 1 number separate by comma, if left blank all images will be small. Click "Submit" - then "Save and publish"

Relating content to page

The content showing as related are content listed under Relations on your landingpage.

Search brand, click "+" to add brand as related. Click "Save" when done. Return to Content page and click "Save and publish".

RelatedProducts

This Macro will enable you to show relevant related products to a specific content you are showing.

Click "Add content" on a column of choice. Click "Macro" and "RelatedProducts"

Now we have created the space, for the related product/products to be displayed.

Relating products to page

On the page, choose tab "Relations", choose "Products", and search the product by ID or name. Click the "+" when correct product appears. Click "Save".

Return to Content page and click "Save and publish".

The related product will now appear on page in webshop - but since the link has been created between the product and the content (video) the content will also appear on the product detail page.

SiteSelector

A Site Selector will already be a part of your navigation between homepages from the start as shown below

The flags appearing in the webshop siteselector appears automatically if the language node code reflects the ISO 639-1 language code for the following languages: DA, DE, EN, EU, FR, NO, SE. Additional language flags will require assistance from Chainbox.

Should you require the siteselector elsewhere on your webshop, that is when you add this Macro.

TrustRating

In all simplicity, an option to add a number of stars and a text to header or elsewhere.

Click "Add content" in a column. Click "Macro"

TrustTextWithIcon

With this macro you can add an icon and a related text.
